With extensive support for standard 2D and 3D formats, DESIGNER is fully compatible with other widely used MEMS design tools
DESIGNER™ imports and exports a variety of widely used and industry standard 2D and 3D data file formats, so it can be used in combination with ARCHITECT and/or ANALYZER, or as a stand-alone tool that fits into your existing design flow. Either way, you’ll benefit from DESIGNER’s easy-to-use, automated generation of 3D models from 2D layouts.
With the DESIGNER’s import and export capabilities, you can
- import 2D layouts from popular 3rd-party layout editors, such as Cadence Virtuoso and Tanner L-Edit, and then build 3D models for analysis in ANALYZER
- export 2D layouts generated by ARCHITECT for use in 3rd-party layout editors
- import 3D solid models from popular general-purpose CAD tools,
such as SolidWorks and I-DEAS, for analysis in ANALYZER
- export 3D solid models for analysis in 3rd-party field solvers such as Ansoft HFSS and Ansys
- import 3D models from SEMulator3D/MEMulator in .stl format for simulations in ANALYZER’s BubbleDropSim solver
