- Spectre or SpectreRF version 7.1.0, 10.1, and 11.1 releases later than 11.1.341 ISR6 (these simulators are included with MMSIM 7.1, MMSIM 10.1 or MMSIM 11.1), 32- and 64-bit
- Virtuoso Layout Suite 6.1.x (optional, only required for exporting MEMS+ Pcells) (Versions 5.1.41 are available with IC5141 and versions 6.1.x with IC61x), 32- and 64-bit

- Page file size should be set to twice the RAM size
- 2.5 GB of disk space for installation
- Minimum 5 GB free disk space for operation, more is recommended

- Support for OpenGL Version 1.2 or higher
- Support for DirectX 9

Architect3D system requirements are the same as for CoventorWare.
SEMulator3D and SEMulator3D Reader System Requirements

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop 5 and 6, 64-bit
Supported Operating Systems, SEMulator3D Reader 2013
- Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Service Pack 1
Hardware
- Intel Pentium 4 class or newer, or AMD X86-compatible CPU
- minimum 2 GHz, faster is recommended
- minimum 1 MB L2 cache, more is recommended
- Multi-core processors are recommended because the modeling engine will build 3D models faster.
- 2 GB RAM (more is desirable)
- 150 MB of disk space for installation
- Minimum 5 GB free disk space for operation, more is recommended
- SEMulator3D Viewer and SEMulator3D Reader require graphics acceleration hardware.
- Graphics hardware must support OpenGL version 1.4 or higher
- NVIDIA-based graphics hardware is preferred due to better support for OpenGL
- Discrete (as opposed to integrated) graphics with a minimum of 256 MB dedicated memory is preferred.
- Up-to-date driver software
- Display set to 1024 x 768 minimum resolution, 32-bit color
- Note: Due to lack of support for graphics hardware, SEMulator3D Viewer and SEMulator3D Reader will not function correctly over Windows Remote Desktop.
